A Poet, Don’t You Know It

A couple of weeks ago, some friends and I went on a sketching excursion in downtown Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Our travels brought us to Breaking New Grounds on Market Square. As luck would have it, they were having an open mic poetry night, which presented many drawing opportunities. The drawing above is of Steve Luttrell, Poet Laureate of Portland, Maine and one of the featured poets of the evening.
