Bright Angles
Posted by trev | Filed under IllustrationI teased this a little bit ago, but I am finally able to annouce the arrival of my new book Bright Angles: Illustrations by Trev Stair. Bright Angles is a 64 page full-color book of my illustrations that I self-published through Lulu. Now, I know what you are thinking, “Trev, isn’t self-publishing the refuge for narcissists and fanatics, desperate to get their fan fiction about Kirk and Spock’s secret love affair in print?” And to that, I would answer, “Yes!” But, thanks to advancements in digital color printing and print on demand, it is also a viable alternative for self-promotion or short-run pet projects. I was surprisingly pleased when I got a sample copy of my book in the mail. The process was easy (provided you have a background in such things), the quality was acceptable (not offset quality, but good), and the turnaround was fast.
Visit the book’s page on Lulu for more information about Bright Angles.
