Gettin’ Cartoony
Posted by trev | Filed under Odds & EndsI’ve been having a tough time at the drawing board for the past week or so — mainly because I think I have been psyching myself out by starting this blog. I keep trying to come up with mind-blowing stuff and as a result I fritter away and produce nothing really satisfying. I suspect it will take me a couple of days to get in a groove.
The doodle below was culled from a batch of scribbles that I have been furiously churning out. I am on a continual quest to get more “cartoony” or simplified with my stuff. It’s not as easy as it sounds. The doodles below are rough, but there’s something there that I quite like. Now I just have to figure out what appeals to me and learn how to replicate it.
